Experience "Rugs 101" High Point Seminar from Loloi
DALLAS, TX -- Loloi Rugs, together with International Market Centers (IMC), will host an all-new seminar, "Rugs 101," Sunday, Oct. 14, during the fall High Point Market. Especially geared toward retailers new to area rugs and those who always wanted to enter the category but may have felt too intimidated, this all-new seminar aims to demystify today's fast-changing area rug business.
"Rugs 101" began as a comprehensive brochure at Loloi, meant to be a collateral sales tool to help sales professionals and their Loloi customers. So well-received, it has been transformed and expanded into an informative seminar that is presented by Loloi executive, Cyrus Loloi, and product development specialists Cherisse Jensen and Emily Lancaster.
Area rugs over the last decade have experienced a seismic shift, transforming them from classic heirlooms handed down through generations of privileged families to stylish fashion accessories for the home that are affordable to consumers of all economic backgrounds. The Rugs 101 seminar will address this evolution, covering all the basics from different rug constructions, fiber types and cleaning methods to selecting the right size, identifying the latest trends and more.
All High Point attendees are welcome, including furniture store buyers, interior designers and retailers who are interested in entering the rug business, as well as members of the press and sales professionals, too.
"Rugs 101 is for anyone who wants to feel more comfortable selling modern-day rugs to their customers," said Cyrus Loloi. "We look forward to sharing our expertise and helping new buyers get excited about the quickly evolving, infinitely fashionable world of area rugs."
"Rugs 101" will be held at the International Home Furnishings Center (IHFC), Green Wing, 11th Floor Ballroom. The seminar is free and lunch will be served. Please note that seating will be limited.
